Bringing Physical Education to Refugee Students
The PE Project Foundation is dedicated to providing quality physical education to students who otherwise wouldn't have access. Our first initiative supports a Sudanese refugee school in Cairo, where over 300 students from grades K-12 now receive structured PE lessons for the first time.
Why This Matters
For years, this school lacked a physical education program, leaving students without opportunities to develop essential skills through movement and play. PE fosters not only physical health but also confidence, social connections, teamwork, and resilience—key benefits that support overall well-being and academic success. In February 2025, we partnered with the school to introduce regular PE lessons, creating a space where students can stay active, learn new skills, and experience the joy of sport. What We Do
Weekly PE Lessons
We provide structured physical education three days per week, giving students the opportunity to stay active, develop motor skills, and enjoy the benefits of movement.
Local Coach Development
We have recruited and are training two Sudanese coaches, Francis and Randa, equipping them with the skills and resources needed to lead engaging PE lessons.
Facility & Equipment Support
We help fund the rental of a military field for safe and accessible play while also supplying essential sports equipment for free.

Holistic Student Development
Our program encourages teamwork, leadership, and confidence-building, helping students develop important life skills through sport.
Inclusivity & Engagement
We design lessons that cater to all ability levels, ensuring that every child, regardless of background or skill, can participate and benefit.
Long-Term Sustainability
By training local coaches and establishing a consistent program, we aim to create lasting change, ensuring students continue to receive quality PE education for years to come.
How We Fund the Program

This initiative is sustained through profits from our PE teaching resources, direct donations, and grants, ensuring all funds support local coaches, provide equipment, and maintain safe play spaces.
